Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is an independent body created by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India for management of Employee State Insurance (ESI). The ESI scheme is a health insurance scheme that provides full medical cover to Indian workers and their family members. E-tax imparts assistance facility to those who are required to get registered under ESI Act, 1948. ESIC. ESI Registration is compulsory for specified factory / establishments having 10 or more permanent employees with a monthly wage of less than Rs. 21000 each. It is the obligatory responsibility of the employer to get registered under the ESI Act within 15 days from applicability.

  • Cinemas
  • Private Educational Institutions
  • Road Motor Transport Establishments
  • Restaurants or Hotels engaged in sales and not manufacturing activity
  • Newspaper establishments not covered under the factory act

Documents required for ESIC Registration
  • Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association in case of Company, and Partnership deed in case of Partnership
  • Registration certificate under Factories Act or Shops and Establishment Act
  • PAN Card of the Employers Entity as well as all Individual Employees
  • Cancelled cheque of the Bank Account of the entity
  • List of Directors, Shareholders / Partners / Owners
  • List of all the Employees in the entity
  • Attendance Register of the employees
  • Compensation details of all the employees
